I’m Leigh, the founder and a certified industrial fitter with over 20 years of experience.

As a parent of two energetic boys, Roy and Jack, I understand the importance of allowing children to play freely while ensuring a safe environment.

The idea for Brick Guard originated when I saw my nephew chase a soccer ball toward a brick corner at our newly purchased house. Later that night, while searching online for a safety solution, I realized that what I envisioned didn't exist.

Initially, we created our guards for personal use and then began crafting them for friends and family. Although starting a business wasn’t our original intention, we recognized the hazards in high-traffic areas where children play and knew our guards could help reduce preventable injuries.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide parents and caregivers with peace of mind and to enhance safety for children.
